It's Japanese! They tell you that, tongue in cheek, on their cards and on the check, too; I'm probably the 1,000th casual visitor who thought before entering that it was a trattoria. Very good sushi, friendly and attentive service. Nobu wasn't open yet -- and I think Next Door Nobu wasn't quite ready to open on the rainy Saturday I was here -- but I didn't leave thinking I'd missed out on much. I hadn't heard of this place; I have now.
